The Bible teaches that our offerings to God should reflect our belief that all we have is His gift to us. It teaches us that with our offerings we worship and honor God.
Like most Christians, our members bring offerings to God through their church. Since offerings are gifts of love for God, no one dictates what each person is to give.
The money that we give goes to help support all the work of the church. If you think about it, all that we have is a gift from God. When we give an offering, we are saying thanks to God for all of His wonderful gifts. As Christians, we give to God in response to what He has given to us: life; food; family; and, most important, our Savior Jesus! We don’t give because we have to, we give because, in faith, we want to!
When will they take the offering? During these times, we are not passing the plate to each person, during our worship service. The offering plate and offering envelopes are available at the Sanctuary entrance.
We have a few different options for you to give offerings. Please see "Ways to Contribute" on what options are available. Offerings are welcome at any given time, not just on Sunday's.
How much am I expected to give? Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. 2 Corinthians 9:7
